Grief is a Fundamental Human Right

The JunneBug Foundation is expanding its impact through innovative initiatives designed to support healing, resilience, and connection. Our Creating Through Grief sessions offer hands-on, creative experiences that provide individuals and communities with meaningful ways to process grief and loss.

A cornerstone of our youth-focused work is Camp JunneBug: Create. Move. Express., an interactive experience that uses creative expression, movement, storytelling, mentorship, and community-building to help young people explore their emotions, identities, experiences, and strengths. Building on the success of Camp JunneBug, the Foundation is working toward expanding the program into additional communities and developing adaptations that can serve justice-involved youth.

The Foundation is also developing specialized partnerships with organizations serving youth and other underserved populations, bringing tailored, trauma-informed experiences directly into the communities that need them. Across all of our initiatives, our goal is to create spaces where grief can be acknowledged, resilience can be strengthened, and individuals are empowered to heal, express themselves, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.
